supporting you through conception, pregnancy and beyond.

I get it,

It’s not always easy.

The perinatal period is a time of enormous change. While it can be exciting, it also comes with its own unique challenges and there can be many bumps along the way. I’m here to hold space and support you through the challenging and messy parts.

I’m a Clinical Psychologist and a mother. I understand the challenges that arise in navigating conception, pregnancy, and parenthood. I offer support for a range of perinatal mental health concerns including low mood, anxiety, the transition to parenthood, bonding/attachment difficulties and early parenting challenges. I have a special interest in working with parents who wish to explore the impact of their own childhood experiences and the influence this has on parenting their own children. I am passionate about assisting clients to recover whilst supporting, connected and attuned relationships with their own children. This season of life can be really challenging and I want you to know that you’re not alone.

What is perinatal psychology, anyway?

WHAT PERINATAL PSYCHOLOGISTS DO

It’s no secret that from conception to pregnancy to parenthood, there are a lot of changes happening. This turbulent period of life can open up many unique challenges, which can feel difficult to deal with on your own. Perinatal psychologists have undertaken specialised training in perinatal and infant mental health in order to support you during this vulnerable time.

HOW PERINATAL PSYCHOLOGISTS HELP

Perinatal psychologists support families throughout every stage of the perinatal period, from pre-conception to early parenthood. My approach nurtures both the mental wellbeing of the parents and the social and emotional development of your little ones. I will always work to support secure attachment between you and your child.

My practice is…

A safe, compassionate space to make sense of the messy parts of preconception and parenthood.
